JAKARTA, GENVOICE.ID - American Music Awards (AMA) 2026 resmi digelar di MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, Amerika Serikat, pada Senin (25/5/2026) malam waktu setempat. Ajang penghargaan musik tahunan ini dipandu oleh Queen Latifah, yang kembali menjadi pembawa acara setelah terakhir tampil sebagai co-host lebih dari tiga dekade lalu.

Malam penghargaan semakin meriah dengan penampilan sejumlah musisi ternama, termasuk BTS yang kembali tampil di panggung AMA setelah menyelesaikan wajib militer.

Pada edisi ke-52, American Music Awards menghadirkan 50 kategori penghargaan. BTS sukses membawa pulang penghargaan paling bergengsi, yakni Artist of the Year, sekaligus memenangkan kategori Best Male K-Pop Artist dan Song of the Summer lewat lagu "Swim".

Sementara itu, KATSEYE mencuri perhatian dengan meraih gelar New Artist of the Year, Breakthrough Pop Artist, dan Best Music Video untuk "Gnarly". Sabrina Carpenter juga tampil gemilang setelah memenangkan kategori Album of the Year dan Best Pop Album melalui album "Man's Best Friend", serta Best Female Pop Artist.
